Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Macoupin County, Illinois. You will work at a high-rise construction project. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; assemble column and beam cages on the bench.
