Now hiring: refrigeration service engineer (Scotland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Day-to-day duties: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
