Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Jefferson Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. You will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently 5+ years on the tools preferred. $6,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
