Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Santa Cruz County, California. You will work in a busy laundry. The role involves: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
