Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Mitchell County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends.
