Tig welder — Wise County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Wise County, Texas. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
