Groundworker • East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a building construction site. On the job you will handle: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up You should have: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience.
