Stainless steel welder — Akwanga

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Six days a week, one day off.
