Shuttering and concrete hand wanted in Rapides Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules On the job you will handle: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
