Bar bender and fixer wanted in Cowlitz County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Cowlitz County, Washington. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
