Pastry baker wanted in Ottawa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Ottawa County, Kansas. The job is at a busy bakery. Day to day you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
