Urgent requirement: press machine operator (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Isles of Scilly, England. The job is in a textile mill. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Day-to-day duties: • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. £2,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
