Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Atakunmosa East, Osun State. The role involves: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Six days a week, one day off.
