Dough maker wanted in Calcasieu Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a dough maker in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Your main tasks: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Rotating shifts.
