Steel fixer — West Northamptonshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in West Northamptonshire, England. Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire We offer £3,100 per month plus benefits.
