Laundry presser wanted in Catron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a laundry presser in Catron County, New Mexico. The job is in a garment export house. On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
