Vacancy available: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Grayson County, Kentucky. The job is at a glass and aluminium factory. On a typical shift you will glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; replace cracked or broken window panes; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts. What we are looking for: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
