Aluminium technician • Presque Isle County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Presque Isle County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware Ideal candidate: • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
