Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day to day you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
