Join our team: we are hiring a short order cook in Bertie County, North Carolina. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. You will plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks. You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
