Great opportunity: foundry worker (Mississippi)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Attala County, Mississippi. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 5+ years on the tools preferred.
