Refrigeration service engineer • Livingston County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Livingston County, Illinois. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Day to day you will install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
