Trowel-trade bricklayer — Hennepin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Hennepin County, Minnesota. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
