Milling machinist wanted in Davis County

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machinist in Davis County, Iowa. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience On a typical shift you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
