Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Franklin County, Maine. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds The role involves: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution Six days a week, one day off.
