The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 3+ years on the tools preferred.
