Lift installation engineer • The Scottish Borders, Scotland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in The Scottish Borders, Scotland. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces The role involves run load and overload tests with test weights; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
