What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T On the job you will handle: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
