Punch press operator • Lisburn and Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a punch press operator in Lisburn and Castlereagh, Northern Ireland. You will work on the press shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Performance bonus on top of base pay.
