Stainless steel welder • Cherry County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Cherry County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
