CNC mill setter-operator wanted in North Yorkshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in North Yorkshire, England. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. £2,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
