Join our team: cold room technician (New Jersey)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold room technician in Sussex County, New Jersey. The job is on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Day to day you will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; service split AC units and VRF systems; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch. Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
