Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold room technician in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; service split AC units and VRF systems; clean condenser and evaporator coils; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Rotating shifts.
