Concrete shuttering carpenter wanted in Frederick County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Frederick County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Six days a week, one day off.
