Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Oyo West, Oyo State. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
