Requirements: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio The role involves set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations.
