Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Anchorage Municipality, Alaska. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred You will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience.
