Now hiring: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Morgan County, West Virginia. The job is at a plant nursery. The role involves prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
