Crane rigger • Schoolcraft County, Michigan

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Schoolcraft County, Michigan. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
