You should have: • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Confident using diagnostic scan tools Day-to-day duties: • Bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Carry out oil and filter changes • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems Part-time with flexible hours.
