Vacuum press operator • Jones County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Jones County, Georgia. You will be based at a garment factory. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
