Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lorry driver in Wabaunsee County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. Ideal candidate: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Confident with manual handling and load securing $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
