Steel fixing chargehand — Mendocino County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Mendocino County, California. The role involves place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Full-time, day shift.
