Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Harrison County, Iowa. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Your main tasks: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
