Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Somerset County, New Jersey. The job is at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls On the job you will handle: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear 4+ years on the tools preferred.
