Concrete worker wanted in Hancock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in Hancock County, Illinois. You will be based at an infrastructure site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods On the job you will handle: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
