Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Jackson County, Georgia. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day to day you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length.
