Urgent requirement: MIG/MAG welder (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Mariposa County, California. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Meals and transport allowance provided.
