Immediate opening: we are hiring an insulation worker in St. Helens, England. The job is on a construction site. On a typical shift you will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. Requirements: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Part-time with flexible hours.
