Immediate opening: we are hiring a car painter in Anderson County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy body shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE On a typical shift you will wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust.
